Javon Walker has been waived by the Denver Broncos, according to a report from ESPN's Michael Smith. Both the Eagles and Cowboys, according to various media reports, will be interested in the receiver.

According to FoxSports.com, Asante Samuel is visiting with the Eagles on Friday. It looks like it will be Samuel's only visit, with the sides close to agreeing to a six-year deal that could be worth a maximum of $60 million if Samuel reaches all his incentives.

The quarterback situation in Miami has been one of the Dolphins' biggest weaknesses after the past several years. David Carr, drafted by the Texans with the first overall pick earlier this decade and released by the Panthers this week, has suffered through similar ups-and-downs. The Dallas Cowboys have re-signed left tackle Flozell Adams to a multi-year deal, according to a team official. The deal, signed on Thursday, is worth $42 million over six years. "I'm just really happy to be here," Adams told the team's Web site. The team also put tenders on their three restricted free agents: RB Marion Barber, DE Chris Canty, and G Joe Berger.

Because Minnesota has $30 million in cap space, they are likely to find the wide receiver they covet. Bernard Berrian is their prime target according to the Star Tribune. Last offseason they struck out on Kevin Curtis and Wes Welker.

The Redskins and 49ers are believed to be most interested in linebacker Lance Briggs. Briggs is looking for around $20 million in guaranteed money.

Chicago, Detroit and New Orleans are the teams most heavily interested in San Diego running back Michael Turner, according to the Union-Tribune. Turner could be a free agent until after the draft because of the large crop of running backs who will be available. Turner is an unrestricted free agent.

Eric Mangini and the Jets are expected to make a run at one of the cornerbacks he once coached in New England. The Jets will seriously pursue Asante Samuel or Randall Gay this offseason.

The Cleveland Browns increased their offer to free agent quarterback Derek Anderson on Wednesday, according to ESPN.com. The new offer is worth $20 million over three years, with half of the money guaranteed according to a report in the Columbus Dispatch. The deadline to tender restricted free agents is Friday, but the Dispatch reported that a deal could officially be announced between the Browns and Anderson as early as Wednesday afternoon.

Muhsin Muhammad is close to being a Panther again, according to an Associated Press report. Muhammad?s agent, Joel Segal, and Carolina GM Marty Hurney said Tuesday that they are close to a deal that would return the veteran receiver to where he played his first nine seasons. ?Hopefully we can get something done in the next day or so,? Hurney said.
